Neimënster is proud to be part of a new cluster launched in October 2014 in Luxembourg.
The MICE cluster (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions) will be a platform of collaboration between private and public stakeholders. The Ministry of Economy and some 20 companies and institutions active in the tourism and conference sector have signed an agreement to join their potential, share their expertise and structure a permanent exchange of information amongst them.
On 26th October, President of Germany Joachim Gauck awarded the German Environment Prize 2014 at an event hosted at HCCE member Kongress Palais Kassel.
With this prize, the German Foundation for the Environment (DBU) rewards excellent performance in the area of sustainability and resource conservation. The German Environment Prize is endowed with €500,000 and is thus the most important award of its kind in Europe.
(CS) The Abbaye de Neumünster in the Grund has changed identities many times over the years – from monastery, hospital and prison to cultural centre – with the latest revamp seeing it renamed Neimënster.
