Innovative excellence in environmental and nature protection - this is the week of the environment in the park of Schloss Bellevue. This year, among the members appointed by the jury bundespräsidialen exhibitors, is HCCE member the Hannover Congress Centrum.

The Hannover Congress Centrum (HCC) attends as a participant at the Environment Week 2016 in the park of Schloss Bellevue. Around 190 institutions from business, politics, civil society and media present their innovative projects on environmental and sustainability issues on 07 and 08 June. They were selected by an independent jury, appointed by the Federal President.

The HCC will present at the Environment Week, the pilot project "Heat to cool". The Technical University (TU) Berlin has further developed absorption chillers so that they can use unused waste heat efficiently and energy saving for air-conditioning. In HCC - as one of 15 global locations for the pilot project - called Hummel plant will be operated in cooperation with the energy provider enercity.

German President Joachim Gauck and the German Federal Environmental Foundation (DBU) invite guests to visit the fifth »Woche der Umwelt« which is taking place on the 7th and 8th of June, 2016 in the park of Schloss Bellevue. With the help of an interactive exhibit, the experts from the specialist department Material Analysis and Indoor Chemistry at the Fraunhofer WKI will be presenting the internet platform IAQIP as well as research projects into sensory perception of emissions from building products.

For us, the invitation is a special appreciation of the intense joint work, which is spent on the project with enercity and other says Lutz Wohlers, head of HCC-building management. All the better that we can be at this outstanding event in Berlin with the project doing now.
