Neimënster is proud to be part of a new cluster launched in October 2014 in Luxembourg.
The MICE cluster (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions and Exhibitions) will be a platform of collaboration between private and public stakeholders. The Ministry of Economy and some 20 companies and institutions active in the tourism and conference sector have signed an agreement to join their potential, share their expertise and structure a permanent exchange of information amongst them.
The cluster will aim at boosting the innovativeness of the sector while developing a nationwide promotional strategy. Assuring the liaison with political and economical decision-makers, it will protect the sector’s interests at national level, but also provide training and expand its knowledge of foreign markets.
The MICE cluster will be affiliated with the National Tourism Office and welcome the memberships of hotel operators, institutional bodies, convention centre managers as well as actors in the transport sector. A few process-observing commissions are already planned. They will study the potential for improvement of customer services and oversee the implementation of a single window approach dedicated to the tourism and conference sector.
