OMNI, the traditional summer open-air festival of neimënster, is back in 2017 brimming with female power: This edition is dedicated to and dominated by Strong Women - singers, musicians, DJanes...

– performing punk, pop, jazz or electronic tunes in front of the most stunning setting under the stars.

OMNI (acronym for non-identified musical objects) is back in 2017 brimming with female power: This edition is dedicated to and dominated by Strong Women - singers, musicians... - committed to making this planet a more equal and fair place.

Fans of the festival don’t worry; this year’s line-up will certainly exceed your expectations. Great names of rock, pop, world music and jazz will make the parvis tremble as they perform in front of the most stunning setting and under the stars. Food stalls will take care of your rumbling tummy and fleece blankets of eventual cold-induced goose-bumps!

The Abbaye de Neumünster is clearly the place to be for all music fans, who want to spend quality evenings outdoors in the hopefully wonderful and warm City summer.

Line-up:

5.7 Rhoda Scott (Support: Nina Harries)

The American organist Rhoda Scott, famous for her virtuosic playing of the Hammond organ has played with the biggest names in business: Ray Charles, Count Basie, Ella Fitzgerald... At the abbey, the grande dame of jazz presents We Free Queens, her latest opus together with her exclusively
female quartet.

6.7 Camille

The French singer/songwriter Camille is back in 2017 with a new album and making a stop at the Abbey. Camille’s lyrics are as subtle and impressive as the rest of her: she definitely is a force to be reckoned with onstage and has created both a career and reputation for herself on the back of an
impressive vocal.

12.7 Peaches (Support: Playing Savage)

Peaches, the fearless and gender-bending provocateur has been twisting her desires into
transgressive art-pop on the international stage for more than 15 years. Much like her classics Dick
In The Air and Fuck The Pain Away her latest and most unequivocal album Rub pushes all boundaries
yet again, touching upon topics like pleasure, power and pain.

20.7 Judith Holofernes (Support: Crinan Wood)
21.7 Bold Beats: Mare Advertencia Lirika (rap) / EMINA (house) / Rebeka Warrior (techno)

Bold Beats stands for the most rhythmic evening of this years’ OMNI festival. Deep and heavy
baselines will make the Parvis tremble: Mare Advertika Lirika’s (rap), DJane EMINA (deep house)
and last but not least Rebeka Warrior (techno) will create a club atmosphere beneath the stars you
will certainly never forget.

29.7 Blues & Jazz Rallye: Stephanie Lottermoser / ONJL feat. Shiho / Klangkraft
