HCCE members invited their clients from the broadest spectrum of the Conference industry to join the Annual General Assembly. Hosted by Slot Zeist a magnificent baroque venue in The Netherlands provided the perfect location, to network, exchanging ideas, experiences, whilst being educated, enjoy a diverse range of social activities.
The intensive four day programme involved members in sales meetings, setting the goals for the coming year. Being educated on the Social Media, Return on Investment ROI, and informed on taking advantage of the HCCE website including how to Win New Business in China.
The professional speakers included Marcus Hochholdinger from the company Dogmasites explaining how to utilization the HCCE website to the best advantage. Social Media No Hype Just Practical Advice – from Stuart Forrester of The Forrester Corporation. Clients joined members to hear Peter Haigh of Hamilton Haigh Associates explain Return on Investment - ROI Methodology - understanding and using as a selling tool. Winning New Business In China presented by Ralph Morris of China Outward. Subsequently all members and clients had the opportunity to network including 1 to 1 meetings which culminated with the formal dinner in the lavish and luxurious environment of the Willemszaal room.
The programme also gave the opportunity for all to come together with a relaxed cruise on the world renowned Amsterdam canals, seeing how beautiful the city is when viewed from the water. Enjoying lunch at HCCE member Beurs van Berlage, the first place in the world to create a fixed location for the trade in stocks and shares (1611). Moving on to the unique and world-famous, park in the Netherlands - Keukenhof the most colourful and fragrant exhibition of over 7 million flowers. The day was completed by a colonial barbeque in the gardens of Slot Zeist with members and clients having the opportunity on the last day for a cycling tour and picnic, taking in the Napoleonic Pyramid of Austerlitz, Huis Doorn refuge of the last German Emperor and the Kroller Muller Museum containing the second largest collection of the work of Van Gogh.
Members and clients together offered admiration and appreciation to the team at Slot Zeist for their professional dedication in making the HCCE Annual General Assembly such a success and thoroughly worthwhile experience.
